‘Body’ in water on Hesperia Rd turns out to be stuffed Spider-Man costume

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Halloween spook came earlier than expected for an emergency crew that was dispatched for reports of a body found near a flood channel in Victorville.

On Tuesday at about 1:34 p.m., a swift water rescue operation was requested to pull a person out of the San Bernardino County Flood Control located on Hesperia Road and Center Street.

However, when first responders approached the ‘body,’ it turned out to be a life-size stuffed dummy wearing a Spider-Man costume and a fanny pack.

Following a brief chuckle, firefighters pulled the stuffed dummy away from the water.
