ADELANTO-(VVNG.com): A death investigation is underway after the body of an adult male was located face down in an industrial area near Adelanto Road and Bartlett Avenue Sunday evening.
Carlos Puebla and his son Donovan Puebla were out walking their dog when they discovered the body and called 911 to report what they had seen. “The body appeared to be that of a Black Male Adult wearing a white tank top, blue pants, and blue alligator skin dress shoes,” said Puebla.
According to Puebla, a portion of chain linked fence next to a factory was cut out and the male was lying face down just on the other side.
“The call came in Sunday, January 10th at 5:27 p.m. Homicide was never called out and the investigation is being handled at station level,” said Sheriff’s Spokeswoman, Jodi Miller.
The Victor Valley station was unable to comment, since the case has been turned over to the coroner for investigation.
The cause of death is still yet to be determined by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Coroner. The identity of the man will be released by the Coroner’s pending notification of next of kin.
