HESPERIA, Calif. (VVNG.com) A body was discovered in the California Aqueduct in Hesperia Thursday afternoon.
At around 2:40 p.m., the San Bernardino County Fire Department Firefighters were dispatched to the 16000 block of State Highway 173 on the outskirts of Hesperia after reports that a body was found.
When emergency personnel arrived on scene they confirmed a deceased person was in the aqueduct near the Mojave Siphon Power Plant.
The Sheriff’s Dive Team was requested to assist in the recovery of the body. No further details were released as of Thursday afternoon.
