VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Earlier today at approximately 9:30 a.m., San Bernardino County Sheriff’s dispatch received a call from a reporting party who discovered a body hanging from a tree at a Victorville park. Per scanner traffic, the call was dispatched as a suicide call.
Coroners was requested arriving within an hour and removing the body located hanging from a tree in an open lot with construction debris just north-west of Eva Del Park in Victorville. By 12pm on Sunday the scene was cleared.
According to a witness, the body was that of an older white male. The strong smell coming from the body indicated that the body had been there for several days. The witness believes the deceased male was a transient.
At this time the cause of death has not been determined and no official identity has been released by the San Bernardino Coroners Department.
