VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): The majority of Victor Valley residents long for snow each year, and this year residents have got their hopes up with the mentions of El Nino conditions along with the cold weather.
The upcoming week with it’s chances of rain combined with very low temperatures may seem promising to some. According to Weather.com, the upcoming week will produce some overnight low temperatures of as low as 21 degrees, but those below-freezing nights will be the nights with little to no change of precipitation.
The daytime highs for Sunday will reach about 59 degrees, with storms clouds coming in by about 7:00 p.m. and a 80% chance of rain expected by 8:00 p.m. The rain is expected to end by 1:00 a.m. on Monday morning.
For Monday the daytime high is expected to be a clear 47 degrees, overnight lows are expected to drop down to a frigid 21 degrees with no chance of precipitation. Due to windy nights, the wind chill factor will make the temperatures feel as much as 10 degrees lower than what it actually is.
Tuesday through Friday will bring more clear, dry and cold days. For Tuesday daytime high temperatures to only reach 47 degrees and overnight lows will fall to about 21 degrees. Wednesday should reach about 50 degrees with the overnight low of 27 degrees. Thursday is expected to be about 56 degrees with overnight lows falling to about 30 degrees. Friday will be a warmer 61 degrees with overnight lows expected to be about 33 degrees.
Saturday will be warmer with daytime highs of 63 degrees and overnight lows about 34 degrees. The day being mostly sunny with some rain expected again the following week.
