On Saturday, May 10th, 39-year-old Barstow resident and father of two, Jonpaul (JP) Vuiller died in a motorcycle accident in the Cactus Flats area of Big Bear heading South on State Highway 18.
Jonpaul was riding on a planned ride along with several other riders originating at Cadillac Ranch Bar in Apple Valley, through Big Bear and planned to end at the Moose Lounge in Lucerne Valley. According to the Coroner report, Jonpaul was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle when he suddenly for unknown reasons lost control and collided into the upslope of the mountain. Jonpaul was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lake Arrowhead Highway Patrol is investigating the accident, no further information is available at this time.
