Apple Valley, Calif.– AVUSD will offer Summer Meal Service to the public again this year to give the students in our community consistent access to healthy meals over the school break.
The program is open to all children who are 18 years and younger and will be offered at the following sites:
Apple Valley High School and Granite Hills High School
June 10 through July 18 (closed July 4 & 5), Operated Monday-Thursday and July 12
Breakfast:
Enrolled Students: AVHS: 9:50-10:05 a.m./GHHS: 10-10:20 a.m.
Community: AVHS: 10:10-10:30 a.m./GHHS: 10:30-10:50 a.m.
Desert Knolls Elementary School, Phoenix Academy, and Vanguard Preparatory School
June 6-July 3
Breakfast:
Enrolled Students: 7:30-8 a.m.
Community: 8-8:30 a.m.
Lunch:
Enrolled Students: 11:15-11:45 a.m.
Community: 11:45 a.m. -12:15 p.m.
Yucca Loma Elementary School
June 3-21 and July 22-August 2
Breakfast:
Enrolled Students: 8:30-9 a.m.
Community: 9-9:30 a.m.
Lunch:
Enrolled and Community: 12:15-12:45 p.m.
There is no enrollment and no cost. Community feeding is on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
