CORRECTION 8/1 @ 8:00 PM – The incident was initially reported as a drive-by, however, after investigation it was determined an armed male entered the business, pulled a gun on the clerk, and shot once, striking the window as he ran out the store.
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Authorities are investigating an alleged drive-by shooting at a local business Tuesday evening.
At about 6:53 pm, deputies were dispatched to Star Market located in the 14700 block of 7th Street.
Per scanner reports, a suspect drove by the business and fired several rounds shattering a window at the location.
Police are actively searching for the suspect vehicle, a black BMW with a sunroof. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male wearing a black t-shirt, black shorts, and a gray hat.
Deputies are actively searching for the vehicle along with the assistance of a helicopter.
No injuries have been reported as a result of the shooting.
