
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) Authorities are investigating an alleged stabbing at a Victorville park that left to teenage girls injured Wednesday night.
At about 10:00 pm, an employee at St. Mary’s Hospital reported two girls, ages 13 and 16, had been brought to the ER suffering from stab wounds.
“The girls said they had been at Brentwood Park when approximately 6 other females, unknown to them, approached them and an argument ensued,” sheriff’s spokeswoman Mara Rodriguez told Victor Valley News.
According to the victim’s, the argument escalated and became physical and the girls were assaulted
“A family member picked the girls up and that is when they say they noticed they had been stabbed,” stated Rodriguez.
The victims were unable to describe any of the suspects and were unable to provide any further details.
Rodriguez said, “deputies searched the park and were unable to find an obvious crime scene or any evidence.
No arrests have been made and no suspects have been identified.
