Authorities Identify Suspect in 2021 Victorville Murder Case Following Extensive Investigation

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — After an extensive and lengthy investigation, authorities have named Brandon Mitchell Hunsaker as the prime suspect in the 2021 murder of Bryan Brewer in Victorville.

The case unfolded when deputies from the Victorville Police Department were dispatched to a home in the 15600 block of Jay Post Road on April 13, 2021. Upon their arrival, they discovered Brewer, 32, deceased with a knife wound.

The Specialized Investigations Division’s Homicide Detail took over the investigation at the scene.

Their relentless pursuit of leads and analysis of the evidence culminated in naming 30-year-old Hunsaker as the suspect.

The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office has subsequently filed murder charges against Hunsaker. Moreover, a no-bail arrest warrant has been secured for his arrest.

At present, Hunsaker is being held in Los Angeles County on charges unrelated to this case. Plans are underway for his transfer to San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department custody to face the current murder charge.
