
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) – Deputies are investigating an attempted robbery that occurred at a Victorville Stater Brothers Saturday afternoon.
At about 5:53 p.m. San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the grocery store at 15235 Hook Blvd. in Victorville.
Per scanner reports, the suspect approached a clerk from behind and demanded money. The clerk told the suspect “No” making the would-be robber empty handed.
As the male left the location he simulated having a firearm under his t-shirt, scanner traffic reported.
The suspect is described as a light-skinned Black male adult with gray hair and heavy-set. He was last seen wearing a dark gray shirt, black pants and fled on foot toward’s the Kimberly Park Apartments.
Nothing was taken from the business and no injuries were reported.
