Attempted Robbery at Subway

MapsAPPLE VALLEY: A suspect armed with a box cutter walked into a Subway located at 12117 Apple Valley Rd in Apple Valley, just after 7:30 p.m. on Sunday night.

Per scanner traffic, the suspect attempted to rob the business and threatened employees with a box cutter while demanding money from the register. It’s unsure if any cash from the register was taken, the suspect did manage to grab a tip jar placed on the counter before quickly running away.

The suspect is described as a female approximately 19-20 years old, wearing a blue beanie, light gray coat, blue pants, some type of dark framed glasses and was last seen running on Bear Valley road towards Kiowa. No additional details relating to the suspect or incident are available at this time.
