Attempted Abduction of 14-Year-Old in Victorville

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- Detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department are warning the public of an isolated abduction involving a 14-year-old boy in Victorville.
According to authorities, on Monday, May 16th, deputies received a report regarding an unknown male suspect trying to lure a child into his vehicle.
Authorities say, the suspect exposed his genitals to the 14-year-old male and attempted to get the victim inside the car. No physical force was reported. Due to the circumstances and how quickly the contact took place, no further details about the suspect were reported.
The victim described the suspect as an older male, approximately 40-years-old, with a dark complexion, possibly African American. The suspect was driving a faded, dark-colored, two-door Honda in the area of Arvila Drive and Cobalt Road.
During the past two weeks, Detectives have looked at all sex registrants in the area and exhausted all possible leads to identify this suspect. No similar incidents have been reported, however, the Victorville detective bureau would like to keep its residents aware and alert. If you encounter a similar situation, call 911 immediately.
