Assault With a Deadly Weapon Leads to Arrest of 18-year-old Woman in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — An 18-year-old woman was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after Monday night in Apple Valley.

On Monday, January 8, 2024, deputies from the Apple Valley Police Department swiftly responded to a disturbance at a residence located in the 21400 block of Del Oro Road.

Deputy T. Belvin conducted a thorough investigation into the reported assault and uncovered that Jenelle Jasmine Davila, a resident of Apple Valley, hurled a metal object at the victim resulting in swelling and multiple scratches.

Fortunately, the victim did not necessitate medical attention for his injuries.

Subsequently, Davila was apprehended and taken into custody, being currently detained at the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of $40,000 bail.
