VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): A gang sweep, lead by the San Bernardino Police Department gang teams took place in Victorville on Wednesday, May 6th leading to the arrest of several area gang members.
According to San Bernardino Police Lt. Travis Walker in a Twitter “Tweet”, guns, ammunition and marijuana for the purpose of sale were recovered during a gang association search warrant.
Victorville residents praised the efforts of the gang task force, many wishing they were able to these type of operations on a more regular basis.
“I hope one day we can go back to a time where they patrol the neighborhoods once or twice a day and evening time, but I know they have stuff like this to handle. God bless them for one step at time,” said Carmen Luddy on a Victor Valley News Facebook post.
