ADELANTO:(VVNG.com)- On Thursday, September 11, 2014, at approximately 10:00pm, Deputy Nick Downey conducted a traffic stop for California Vehicle Code violations in the area of Seneca Road and Bellflower.
During a search of the vehicle, Deputy Downey located 5 baggies of Marijuana in the spare tire. Under the fabric seat cover, a loaded handgun and cash were found. The handgun was confirmed to be a stolen weapon. The driver of the vehicle, 55-year-old Gabriel Ramirez, was arrested for transportation of marijuana and possession of stolen property.
A subsequent search was conducted of a motel room in Victorville where Ramirez is currently living. Additional Marijuana and cash was found inside the room. Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and packaging materials were also located. As a result of this investigation, over $1,300.00 in cash, 5lbs of Marijuana and 3 baggies of methamphetamine were located.
Gabriel Ramirez was booked at the Victor Valley Jail and is currently being held in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.
