Arrest Made in Hesperia Chop Shop Operation

HESPERIA-(VVNG.com): On Monday, December 8th a Hesperia Chop Shop was inadvertently located at approximately 2:30 pm after deputies were dispatched to a report of a possible burglary in progress. The reporting party had reported to have seen a few juveniles jumping a fence at a residence and another was standing guard out in front. The juveniles left the scene before the deputies arrived.
When deputies arrived on scene they noticed a door leading to the garage of the home located in the 18500 Block of Willow Street. Deputies did a security check of the garage, where they located several stripped vehicles. A search warrant was obtained for the location. During the search they located,two vehicles, a motorcycle, several parts hidden and multiple license plates, upon checking belonging to previously stolen vehicles.
After further investigation James Placencia, who resides at the location, was arrested and booked at HDDC for PC496- Possession of stolen property and VC10801- Owner or operator of a chop shop.
