Armed Robbery at Jack in the Box in Victorville

VICTORVILLE-(VVNG.com): Police are investigating an armed robbery that took place at Jack-in-the-Box located in the Rite Aid shopping center at the corner of Mojave Drive and El Evado Road.

Sheriff’s dispatch received a call at approximately 9:25 PM on Saturday, December 20, 2014 reporting two black males wearing gloves, bandannas, beanies and armed with handguns entered the fast food restaurant.

Jack in the BoxThe suspects ordered the employees into a back room located inside of the restaurant and demanded all employees to lay down on the floor. The thieves took personal items belonging to the employees along with an undisclosed amount of cash from the cash registers. No employees or customers were injured during the armed robbery.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Ken Lutz said the suspects fled eastbound on foot through a field behind the location and A CHP helicopter was called in to assist with the search of the suspects. As of Monday no arrest have been made.
