APPLE VALLEY: Per scanner traffic, a (211) armed robbery just occurred at High Desert Pharmacy on 18182 highway-18 in Apple Valley (between Apple Valley road & Kasota road).
The suspected was armed with a black automatic hand gun and is described as a black male adult approximately 6’4, 180lbs., mid 30’s and reportedly wore a Chartreuse color construction worker vest, a yellow hard hat, and a long black sleeve shirt during the robbery.
Dispatch received a call reporting the robbery around noon time on Monday. Per scanner traffic the suspect, reportedly shoved a female employee to the floor and put a gun to her back. It appears no employees were injured.
The suspect made off with $200 in cash. Before fleeing the scene on foot.
CHP helicopter (H-80) has been called in to assist in the search for the suspect. Details are developing and will be posted as they become available.
