APPLE VALLEY: (VVNG) – Shortly after 1am on May 20th, an Armed Robbery, occurred at the Circle K on the South West corner of Hwy-18 and Mondamon Rd.
Store surveillance video showed the suspects, who were described as two black male adults or juveniles, thin build, approximately 5’7” tall, 120 pounds with light gray hoodies and ski masks on.
The suspects had a black 38mm handgun.
They were last seen traveling by foot toward the Kentucky Fried Chicken. No injuries were reported, the suspects were said to have got away with multiple packs of Newport brand cigarettes and plastic penny roles. Shoe tracks were later found, but disappear at Owatonna Rd. where the dirt ends and the pavement begins.
