Argument Leads to Hesperia Woman Stabbing Boyfriend

PHELAN, Calif. ( Authorities arrested a 29-year-old Hesperia woman for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend of 8 months in the abdomen during an argument.

On Saturday, April 22, 2017, at approximately 11:41 pm deputies responded to the report of a stabbing in the 12800 block of Wilson Ranch Road in Phelan.

According to authorities Hagan and the male victim left together from a bonfire at a friend’s house. While in the vehicle the two got into heated argument.

“Hagan pulled her vehicle over on Wilson Ranch Road and they both got out of the vehicle, continuing to argue. Hagan then took out a butterfly knife and stabbed the victim in the abdomen,” stated Sheriff’s officials in a press release.

The male victim walked to a residence asking for help and Hagan drove away from the scene. While deputies were at the residence conducting the investigation, Hagan returned and was subsequently taken into custody.

Samantha Hagan was booked at the High Desert Detention Center; she has been released from custody.

The victim was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center for the treatment of his injuries which do not appear to be life-threatening.
