April 20–26 Operation Consequences Nets 31 Firearms, 23 Arrests Across San Bernardino County
SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Authorities seized 31 firearms and arrested 23 people during the latest weekly results of Operation Consequences, a continuing crime suppression effort across San Bernardino County.
The statistics reflect enforcement activity from April 20, 2026, through April 26, 2026, in Yucca Valley, Helendale, Phelan, San Bernardino, and Fontana.
Investigators from the Sheriff’s Department’s Gangs/Narcotics Division, along with deputies from patrol stations and personnel from partnering agencies, served 14 search warrants and contacted suspects throughout the county, according to a written statement from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities said the San Bernardino Movement Against Street Hoodlums Street Enforcement Team also conducted proactive patrols in San Bernardino and surrounding areas.
During the reporting period, investigators contacted gang members and people prohibited from possessing firearms. Deputies seized 31 firearms, including eight ghost guns, and made 21 felony arrests and two misdemeanor arrests, according to the statement.
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors authorized funding for countywide crime suppression operations, aimed at addressing quality-of-life issues affecting local communities.
Operation Consequences is expected to continue over the next several months, focusing on the High Desert and areas surrounding the city of San Bernardino. The effort targets violent crime, criminal street gangs, and individuals illegally possessing, manufacturing, or trafficking firearms.
