APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A runaway juvenile who was initially reported as being kidnapped made up the whole thing, officials confirmed.

On Sunday, December 1, 2019, deputies from the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Department responded to the Los Ranchos Mobile Home Park in the 20000 block of Waalew Road to take a missing juvenile report.

Ground deputies conducted a thorough search of the area and a sheriff’s helicopter announced the information over a loudspeaker.

The extensive searched continued for several hours.

A post on the website Nextdoor.com was screenshotted and shared on Facebook repeatedly. The post alleged, the victim, a 12-year-old girl was kidnapped from the mobile home park and managed to escape from the suspect’s home.

According to the post, “she was taken by force and from there she don’t remember because she fell asleep were thinking they put something in her for her to faint.”
