APPLE VALLEY: Your voice can be more than just a drop in the bucket! Customers of AV Ranchos Water Company are urged to attend one of two public hearings in front of the Public Utilities Commission, Wed. April 30 at 1 and 6 pm in the AV Conference Center.
The Apple Valley Ranchos Water Company has submitted an application with the Public Utilities Commission to raise our water rates. They are asking for increases of 14.88% in 2015, 8.48% in 2016 and 8.19% in 2017. The Town of Apple Valley has intervened in the process to protect its own and its residents’ interests, and we were granted “party status” by the assigned Administrative Law Judge (ALJ).
The PUC has scheduled the following Public Participation Hearings:
