UPDATE: Critical missing man from Apple Valley found safe

UPDATE @ 9/11 –Demont was found early this morning and is being checked out at a local hospital. According to his wife, a passerby found him laying along Hesperia Road in Victorville.

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a critical missing man in Apple Valley.

Demont Valdes, 48, who suffers from Parkinson’s Disease as well as dementia is dependent on medication in order to function.

Officials said Demont may appear to be intoxicated as he walks, but this is a symptom of his medical issues.

According to a sheriff’s missing person flier, Demont was last seen at his residence in the area of Kiowa Rd. & Lancelet Ave. at 7:20 am on September 10, 2019.

Demont is known to ride public transit. He’s described as a white male adult,5’9 ”, 180 lbs short blonde hair, blue eyes and a barbed-wire tattoo on right bicep.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call the Apple Valley Police Department at 760-240-7400 and reference case 181904310.
