Apple Valley Man Deceased After Roll-over Accident on I15

SAN BERNARDINO – (VVNG.com)- Family and friends are grieving over the loss of a loving husband and father who was fatally injured after his vehicle left the roadway. At approximately 9:40 p.m., on October 12th, there was a report of a single-vehicle accident in the area of I215 north just south of the Devore Road exit. The 2003 burgundy had for unknown reasons left the roadway and overturned 20 feet down an embankment.
When first responders arrived on scene they located an over turned vehicle with an unresponsive driver inside. A tow truck was requested to help turn the vehicle over to help them get to the unresponsive driver. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was determined to be dead on arrival. He was later identified by the San Bernardino Coroners Department as 50-year-old Stanley Ruffin of Apple Valley.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating this incident.
