Apple Valley man arrested for theft, possession of burglary tools

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. ( — An apple Valley man on probation is back in jail after police found him in possession of burglary tools, officials said.

The suspect, Craig Miller, 39, was observed wearing a backpack and riding his bicycle in the 20400 block of Majestic Drive in Apple Valley.

Deputies contacted Miller and found burglary tools in his bag. Miller was found to be on probation and was arrested for PC466, Possession of Burglary Tools, and a probation hold was also issued. 

According to jail booking logs, Miller was also charged with PC 69 Obstructing/Resisting a Peace Officer, VC10851(A) Vehicle Theft, and PC1203.2 Probation Violation and is ineligible for bail.

Miller is scheduled to appear in court on September 3, 2019.
