APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detectives arrested29year-old Troy Johnson of Apple Valley for Possession of Child Pornography, authorities confirmed.
On Thursday, February 27, 2020, Investigators from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, (CAC) and Sheriff’s Hi-Tech Division, began an investigation into the downloading, possession and distribution of child pornography.
Through investigation, it was determined the child pornography was distributed from a home in the 12900 block of Navajo Road Apple Valley, sheriff’s officials stated.
Investigators obtained a search warrant and contacted Johnson at the residence.
According to a sheriff’s news release, “Johnson was found to be in possession of over a thousand images and videos of child pornography. At the end of an interview with Johnson, he was arrested for possession of child pornography.”
Johnson was subsequently booked into High Desert Detention Center and bail was set at $25,000.
