Apple Valley firefighters respond to house fire Wednesday morning

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Firefighters with the Apple Valley Fire Protection District responded to a house fire Wednesday morning.
The fire was reported at 10:06 am, in the 21200 block of Vidal Court.
Radio traffic reported the fire started inside a bedroom of the home.
Upon arrival, firefighters located heavy smoke showing from a single-story family residence. Crews conducted a primary search of residence to ensure there were no occupants inside.
Crews had the fire under control by 10:27 am, radio traffic reported. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
The American Red Cross was requested to respond to the scene and provide assistance to two adults, three kids, and two dogs.
