
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A Fire Captain with the Apple Valley Fire Protection District sustained minor injuries after a rock was hurled into a glass door.
It happened on August 7, 2018, at the Apple Valley Fire Station in the 22000 block of Headquarters Drive.
At about 4:20 pm, sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to the location after receiving reports that an unknown adult male had thrown a rock through the front glass door of the fire station, officials said.
Sheriff’s Spokeswoman Joy Ballinger told Victor Valley News, “the glass door shattered causing minor injury to the Fire Captain who had been standing near the door.”
The suspect fled the area on his bicycle and the investigation is still ongoing, stated Ballinger.
