
APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) An Apple Valley couple is facing several charges after the two were found with crystal meth and a loaded AR-15 rifle.
Dennis Fernandez, 26, and Aglaeth Corona, 28, were arrested at their residence in the 21000 block of Dotame Road on Tuesday, August 1, 2017.
At about 6:00 pm. deputies with the High Desert Regional Gang Task Force served a search warrant at the couple’s home.
Officials say the Fernandez and Corona returned to the residence while deputies were serving the search warrant.
“During the search of the residence, deputies located a loaded AR-15 rifle with two – 30 round high-capacity magazines, a 10 round magazine, methamphetamine, scales and packaging consistent with the sales of narcotics,” stated a Wednesday evening sheriff’s news release. “A records check of the rifle indicated it had been reported stolen”.
Both were arrested, Corona was transported and booked into the West Valley Detention Center where she remains in custody. Fernandez was transported and booked into the High Desert Detention Center. Fernandez was also found to have a felony no bail warrant, and he too remains in custody.
