APPLE VALLEY-(VVNG.com): Two Apple Valley businesses were robbed at gunpoint on Tuesday evening.
The first report was just before 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening an armed suspect entered the Baskin Robbins located in the 12200 block of Apple Valley Road near Bear Valley Road.
Per scanner traffic, the employees reported that a white male adult in his 30’s entered the location with a gun. The employees ran out the back door to safety, leaving the suspect inside of the location. The suspect was described as wearing a gray hooded jacket, a gray ski mask and Adidas shoes. Deputies from the Apple Valley Station arrived at the location and cleared the building at about 7:34 p.m.
The second call came in at about 7:40 p.m. from the Juice it Up also on the 12200 block of Apple Valley Road. The reporting party said that they were robbed at gunpoint and the suspect went out the front door. The suspect was described as a white male adult, 6’-6’2, average build with facial hair. He was described as wearing a gray hooded jacket, a black mask, black pants.
Deputies are searching for the suspect believed to be responsible for both robberies. More information will be updated as it becomes available.
