Apple Festival at Silverwood Lake Event

SILVERWOOD LAKE, Calif. (VVNG.com) The Mojave River Natural History Association (MRNHA) in cooperation with Silverwood Lake State Recreation Area will be celebrating the harvesting of apples from our historic orchard on October 7, 2017.
Participants will be able to pick heirloom varieties of apples from trees planted over 100 years ago. Fresh apple cider will be made and available for tasting.
- This year music will be presented by Back Porch Bluegrass.
- Activities begin at 10:00AM and are scheduled to end at 3:00PM.
MRNHA is the non-profit all volunteer cooperating association that helps the California State Park at Silverwood Lake SRA. Our activities are designed to enhance the park visitors experience through promoting environmental, cultural and historical awareness.
