Amazon Truck and Another Semi Collide On 15 Freeway in Hesperia
HESPERIA, CALIF. (VVNG.com) – A collision involving two semi-trucks on the 15 freeway just south of Bear Valley Road resulted in extensive damage and injuries to a driver pulling an Amazon trailer.
At approximately 4:19 PM, Saturday, February 3, 2024, emergency workers were dispatched to an incident involving a blue cab Amazon trailer colliding with a white semi-truck on the northbound 15 freeway.
A witness reported that two female bystanders and the driver of a white semi-truck assisted in removing the driver that was pulling the Amazon Prime trailer from his vehicle. The Prime driver sustained a leg injury in the incident.
The San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the emergency and coordinated for a helicopter to land at Desert Valley Hospital in order to transfer the individual to a trauma center for further treatment.
According to California Highway Patrol logs, two right lanes were possibly obstructed, leading to traffic slowdowns in the area.
