Alleged kidnapping suspect arrested in Apple Valley

APPLE VALLEY, Calif.(VVNG.com) — An Adelanto man with a warrant for kidnapping was arrested in Apple Valley following a brief foot pursuit, officials said.

It happened on Thursday, October 25, 2018, when deputies responded to a residence in the 13000 block of Central Road reference an unknown disturbance.

The suspect, identified as Rabarsahr Singleton, 36, left the location before deputies could arrive.

According to a sheriff’s news release, “Singleton was found to be a wanted felon with a No Bail Warrant for Kidnapping and has evaded arrest for several months. During the investigation, deputies determined Singleton had returned to the scene and was hiding inside one of the apartments.”

Deputies made contact with the suspect and after a brief foot pursuit deputies were able to detain Singleton and booked him into the High Desert Detention Center for his Kidnapping Warrant.
