All Victorville City parks and community centers closed until further notice amid coronavirus fears

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — On Thursday afternoon the City of Victorville announced all its parks and community centers are closed until further notice in an effort to slow the spread of Covid-19.
“During this closure, City employees will continue to work and carry out the essential functions of our City such as public safety, water and sewer, customer service and more,” stated City Officials.
Earlier this week, the city announced the City Hall and several city facilities will remain closed to the public until March 30th.
Park and Community Center Closures:
ALL City parks and community centers are closed until further notice. These closures include:
-Green Tree Golf Course
-Victorville Activity Center
-Sunset Ridge Community Center
-Westwinds Activity Center
-Westwinds Sports Center

-Victorville Animal Care & Control
-Hook Community Center
-Sunset Ridge Community Building
-McArt Yard
-Victorville Activities Center

-Westwinds Activities Center & Westwinds Sports Center
-Southern California Logistics Airport Offices
-Water Yards
For those in need, the Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County is a dedicated social service agency with food bank programs to assist the communities within San Bernardino County. Their resources are available at www.capsbc.org or they can be reached at (800) 635-4618.
