CAJON PASS:(VVNG.com)- A small storm rolled through the Victor Valley on Tuesday afternoon leaving behind slick roadways. Although the showers have cleared the area, the fog has started to make an appearance.
According to the National Weather Service, the Victor Valley will not see anymore rain for the remainder of the week. Our local mountains might see some rainfall on either Friday or Saturday.
Commuters traveling through the Cajon Pass are reporting a thick fog that is making driving conditions a little more difficult than usual.
Remember to use caution when driving through fog. Since thick fog masks the sensation of speed by removing visual indicators, you should use your speedometer as a guide to regulate your speed.
“If you must drive, then drive slow, turn on your windshield wipers, and use your low beam headlights. The light from the high beam headlights will reflect back and cause glare,” according to the California Department of Motor Vehicles.
