APPLE VALLEY-(VVNG.com): The Academy for Academic Excellence located at 17500 Mana Road announced late Sunday night via their Facebook page that there will be no school for students on Monday, January 11, 2016.
The school said the reason for the emergency closure is to make repairs to an electrical breaker that was severely damaged. With the help of Southern California Edison school officials said that the this repair should be made by noon on Monday at the earliest.
The Facebook post said, “With this said, and keeping in mind that your child’s safety is our number priority, we have no other choice than to cancel school for Monday, January 11, 2016. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to seeing everyone back on Tuesday.”
