Airship Lands at Mall After Accident

VICTORVILLE: Sheriffs dispatch received calls reporting a vehicle that wrecked into a wash located near Petaluma road and Mall boulevard, directly behind Sears. The incident was reported on Monday at about 7:40 p.m.
According to scanner traffic, at least two occupants required extrication from the mangled vehicle and sustained major injuries.
An air ambulance was requested to transport one of the injured to Arrowhead Region Medical Center. A second patient was taken by AMR ground ambulance to a local hospital.
The extent of their conditions are unknown at this time.
Officials established a landing zone for the air ship in the Red Robin/Jc Penny parking lot located at the Victor Valley Mall.
At this time it’s unsure how exactly how vehicle entered the wash area. An investigation is underway and more details will be posted as they become available.
