Adelanto Woman Arrested for Vandalism and Robbery

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com)- An Adelanto woman was arrested after authorities say she caused damaged to a vehicle and stole a purse Tuesday night.

On January 31, 2017, deputies from the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, assigned to the city of Adelanto, were dispatched to a report of a robbery in the 11200 block of Chaparral Avenue.

Deputy Sean Byrne responded to the incident location, contacted all involved parties and conducted an investigation. Deputy Byrne learned the suspect was involved in an argument in the roadway. A family member of the other party involved in the argument saw the two and pulled up in an attempt to prevent the argument from escalating.

According to the victims, Natallie Soto, 29, began yelling at them and hitting their vehicle causing damage. Soto then reached into the vehicle and took a purse which belonged to one of the victim’s.

Natallie Soto was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center where she is being held in lieu of $100,000 bail.
