Adelanto Man wanted for attempted murder of Apple Valley woman

APPLE VALLEY, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Sheriff officials are still searching for Courtney Allen, a 22-year-old male of Adelanto, who shot at a house that was allegedly occupied by a woman and children.

On Friday, May 17, 2019, at approximately 12:20 am, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s dispatch received a report of shots fired in the 13400 block of Central Road in the Town of Apple Valley. Deputies from the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the area and contacted the resident. 

Deputy M. Cashion conducted an investigation and learned the suspect, Courtney Allen, had made threats towards the victim via telephone. 

Shortly after the phone call ended, Allen drove his vehicle to the residence and began firing a firearm. 

The resident called 911 and the suspect left the area in his vehicle. No one was injured in the incident; a search of the area was conducted and the suspect remains outstanding. He is believed to be in the Adelanto area.
