Adelanto Man Killed in a Collision on Green Tree Blvd in Victorville
UPDATE — The coroner identified the deceased male as 33-year-old Arturo C. Conde.
VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — An Adelanto man was killed in a crash overnight in Victorville.
It happened on Sunday, September 29, 2024, at about 12:11 a.m., on Hesperia Road and Green Tree Blvd., near Hesperia Road.
Deputies from the Victorville Police Station along with Victorville Fire Department and American Medical Response personnel, responded to a two-vehicle crash.
Firefighters reported the occupant was trapped inside the vehicle and would require extensive extrication. A medical helicopter was initially requested but canceled shortly after.
The driver of the Toyota sustained major injuries and was transported to Desert Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
Sheriff’s officials said it was determined a blue Toyota Corolla traveling west on Green Tree Boulevard entered eastbound lanes of traffic and crashed head-on into a white Chevrolet Silverado traveling in the eastbound lane.
Green Tree Boulevard was closed between Coad Road and Hesperia Road for several hours.
