Adelanto Man Accused of Raping Woman He Met on Plenty Of Fish Dating Site

ADELANTO, CALIF. ( An Adelanto man is in currently being held on a one-million-dollar bail after allegedly raping a woman he met on a popular dating site.

On Saturday, October 1, 2016, at approximately 1:40am, deputies responded to the report of a rape at a residence in the City of Adelanto.

According to the adult female victim, she met the suspect, only known to her as “Bruno,” on the dating website Plenty of Fish.

The victim allowed “Bruno” to meet her at her house, where she said he forcibly raped her.

Through the investigation, detectives were able to positively identify the suspect as Bruce Tucker, 37,  of Adelanto.

Deputies obtained an arrest warrant for the suspect, and on Tuesday, October 12, 2016, Tucker was arrested without incident.

Bruce Tucker is currently being held at the High Desert Detention Center in lieu of the one-million-dollar bail.

Tucker has a scheduled court appearance for Friday, October 14th 2016 at 12:30 p.m. at the Victorville Superior Court, according to court records.
