ADELANTO, Calif :(VVNG.com)- Ronald Lee Mack, a 44-year-old Adelanto resident was arrested for robbery and making terrorist threats, police said.
On Friday, January 1st at 7:17 pm, San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Dispatch received a report of a robbery at Michael’s Liquor and Gas located at 11424 Chamberlaine Way in the City of Adelanto.
Deputy Lauren Abernathy responded to the location and learned a male adult had entered the store. The male subject was asked to leave the store and he yelled at the owner then shoved him into the doors and left with merchandise without paying for it.
On Wednesday, June 1st at 3:38 pm dispatch again received a call from the liquor store regarding an employee being threatened by the same adult male. The male adult threatened to kill the owner of the business for not allowing him to leave the door open.
On Saturday, August 6th Deputy Scott Hamilton was working patrol for the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station, assigned to the City of Adelanto. At approximately 1:45 pm Deputy Hamilton was dispatched to a report of the subject seen at the liquor store who had committed the strong-arm robbery and threatened the owner.
Deputy Hamilton responded to the business and was directed to a near-by apartment complex where the suspect was last scene. Deputy Hamilton went to the apartment complex and was able to locate the suspect who was later identified as Ronald Lee Mack. Mack was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center on charges of robbery and criminal threats. He is currently being held in lieu of $100,000.
