ADELANTO: A 31-year-old Adelanto man identified as Jonathan Hart is behind bars for molesting a female juvenile.
Deputy Perea from the Adelanto Sheriff’s station began an investigation into the ongoing molestation on Monday, September 14, 2015.
According to a news release, Deputy Perea received information and video evidence of the molestation. Hart has an extensive criminal history and constituted a threat to the victim and other children in the home.
The Sheriff’s Specialized Enforcement Division was contacted and given the suspects information.Members of the Specialized Enforcement Division quickly located Hart near the residence. Hart was taken into custody without incident.
Hart is currently being held on a $100,000 bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 12:30 P.M.
