Adelanto family searching for runaway 16-year-old girl

ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — The family of a runaway Adelanto teen is asking the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Jai’nyah Taylor.
Jai’nyah’s uncle Kenny Smith told VVNG she was last seen on Sunday, June 7, 2020, at about 7:30 AM in the area of Dollar General and Adelanto Stadium.
Her uncle said Jai’nyah has a history of running away and believes she’s at an unknown friend’s house.
Jai’nyah is 16-years-old 5’7″, 120 lbs., and a student at Adelanto High School. She was last seen wearing black pants and a hooded gray/white sweater and white sandals.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Jodi Miller confirmed there was a report taken reference a runaway juvenile. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the Victor Valley Sheriff’s Station at 760-552-6800.
