ADELANTO, Calif. (VVNG.com) — Authorities arrested Kevin and Irma Fryer, both residents of Adelanto for lewd acts with a minor and willful cruelty to a child.
On Wednesday, August 29, 2018, investigators from the Specialized Investigations Division – Crimes Against Children Detail (CAC), began an investigation into a cyber tip that was reported by an Electronic Service Provider (ESP).
According to a sheriff’s news release, “the tip contained hundreds of messages detailing a sexual relationship between Kevin Fryer and the victim. Through investigation, detectives determined the ESP account belonged to the suspect, Kevin Fryer.”
On Thursday, August 30, 2018, at 7:00 p.m., the Specialized Enforcement Detail (SED) contacted Kevin and Irma Fryer in the 9800 block of Forest Court, in Adelanto.
A detective from the Crimes Against Children Detail conducted interviews with Kevin and Irma Fryer, and at the conclusion of the interviews, Kevin Fryer was arrested for PC 288a – Lewd and Lascivious Acts with a minor under the age of 14 and Irma Fryer was arrested for PC 273A (A) – Willful Cruelty to a Child. Both subjects were subsequently booked into Central Detention Center, and bail was set at $250,000.00 for Kevin Fryer and $100,000.00 for Irma Fryer.
