Man Allegedly Beaten and Robbed by Trio After Accepting Ride From Barstow to Victorville

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) — A man was allegedly assaulted and robbed early Saturday morning after accepting a ride from three people he met in Barstow.
The robbery was reported on July 11, 2026, at about 1:17 a.m. in the 13600 block of Agate Circle in Victorville.
According to information provided to VVNG by San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department spokeswoman Jenny Smith, the victim was offered a ride by two unknown Hispanic men and a woman while in Barstow.
The spokeswoman said the victim asked to be dropped off at the incident location.
After the vehicle stopped, both male suspects exited and helped the victim remove his personal belongings from the vehicle. The two men then suddenly assaulted the victim, striking him in the head and upper body.
The suspects stole the victim’s property and cell phone before fleeing the area in a white sedan.
Information regarding the property taken or suspect descriptions was not available at the time of this article.
The investigation remains ongoing and is being handled by the Victorville Police Department.
