6-Year-Old Allegedly Left Home Alone for Three Days

VICTORVILLE:(VVNG.com)- At 8:32 P.M., on Monday, June 15, 2015 Child Protective Services (CPS) contacted dispatch and requested an immediate response from a deputy to a residence on the 15800 block of Tawney Ridge Lane in Victorville.

According to scanner traffic, the report indicated that a 6-year-old boy was left alone in a home with no utilities.

Deputies arrived to the residence and verified that there in fact, was no running water to the home that the boy resided in. Through the investigation deputies determined the child was left for several days without any parental supervision.

Authorities described the overall living conditions inside the home as bad. The other three children that lived in the home, were with their father at the time of the call. The 6-year-old was taken into protective custody and at this time remains in their custody.

Sheriff’s officials confirmed that as of Tuesday no arrest had been made. No information about the child’s mother’s whereabouts was available at the time of this article.
