54-Year-Old Man Killed in Freeway Crash Near Baker

BAKER, Calif. (VVNG.com)- A 54-year-old man was killed in a traffic collision along southbound I-15 near the town of Baker, CA.
On Friday, December 30th at 6:25 a.m. officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to a single-vehicle traffic collision involving a 2016 Toyota Camry north of Zzyzx Road.
For unknown reasons the vehicle drifted to the right off of the roadway, colliding into a guardrail. The vehicle continued several more feet and collided into a concrete culvert, stated Public Information Center Adam Carmichall.
The male driver was pronounced deceased upon emergency personnel arrival.
Alcohol or drugs are not believed to be a contributing factor in this collision.
This collision is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Barstow Area.
